NORTH CENTRAL SCHOOL SCHOLARSHIPS
Each year North Central students have an opportunity to fill out an application and submit it to the Pioneer Chamber. The Chamber board then reviews all applications and selects two students to receive a reimbursement scholarship from the chamber. |
WILLIAMS COUNTY FAIR FOUNDATION - $10,000 Pledge
In 2002 the Pioneer Area Chamber of Commerce started it's $2000.00 per year commitment to the Fair Foundation. It's been many years of hard work but this commitment has been completed. We have been successful at making this $2000.00 per year payment by having an annual consignment auction. The profits from the sale of auction items and concessions have made this happen. Special thanks to Shane Sumner and Col. Steinke of Steinke-Sumner Auctions for their donated services and equipment to make this event a success. |
CLEARFORK MEMORIAL PARK - Yearly improvements and additions
2002 marked the beginning of what is now called Clearfork Memorial Park. This was the year that the Pioneer VFW purchased the property known as Dohrs. The buildings were demolished and the property was given to the Pioneer Area Chamber of Commerce. A green area was created and was enjoyed by the community. In 2005 plans were made for a paved brick walkway and a stone retaining wall to be installed in this area. Brick pavers are engraved with individual and family names once purchased by area and community members. Each year we continue to invest dollars and labor into this park. Contact Barb Thomas for information on purchasing your pavers. |
WILLIAMS COUNTY RELAY FOR LIFE
